RecourseLink can help organize copies of records for account workflows, but users remain responsible for preserving original documents, messages, photos, receipts, notices, contracts, and other evidence.
The Evidence Vault is for private account organization, source matching, readiness review, and user-controlled attorney disclosure when that workflow is available. It is not a court filing system, litigation hold service, settlement administrator, notary, forensic lab, or legal preservation service.
Uploading a file does not mean RecourseLink reviewed it, accepted it as evidence, verified it as authentic, determined that it is relevant, or sent it to an attorney.
RecourseLink does not decide admissibility, authenticity, hearsay exceptions, chain-of-custody sufficiency, privilege, confidentiality, legal relevance, legal strategy, filing deadlines, or whether an attorney will accept a matter.
File hashes and metadata can help show whether a stored copy changed after upload. They do not, by themselves, prove that a document is authentic, admissible, complete, legally sufficient, or accepted by a court, agency, settlement administrator, or attorney.
Evidence is private by default. Attorney access, reviewer access, export, deletion, AI extraction, and any disclosure outside the account require the applicable workflow, consent scope, access permissions, and audit logging.
Payment status alone does not unlock evidence access. Attorney access requires the separate attorney and user-side controls described in the Terms, Disclosures, and Claim Review Consent pages.
Evidence records may be subject to retention, deletion, export, legal hold, fraud-prevention, security, billing, and dispute-review rules. A deletion request may not remove records that RecourseLink must retain for legal, security, audit, or dispute reasons.
If RecourseLink identifies a security incident affecting evidence records, it will evaluate notice and response obligations under applicable law and the platform's incident process.
